Millena Gay, a native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, embarked on a journey in the entertainment industry following her graduation from the University of Virginia, where she studied pre-law. She relocated to New York City to pursue a career in acting, and it was during this time that she discovered her passion for directing while staging an off-Broadway play titled "Monsieur Felix Fox Fly", which later embarked on a successful regional tour.
Transitioning to Los Angeles, Millena honed her skills in producing and directing through UCLA's Certificate Program, culminating in the creation of the short film "Journey". Her entrepreneurial spirit and creative prowess led her to produce award-winning short films such as "Clarissa's Gift" and "Fun The Emachee Way".
Millena's work earned her accolades, and she furthered her education by enrolling in UCLA Extension's Producing and Entertainment Studies Program, graduating with honors in 2016. Since then, she has directed and produced numerous successful projects, including the acclaimed documentary "Golden Hearted", narrated by Academy Award winner Danny Glover, and the featurette "Something About Mother", starring Jayne Kennedy, Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs, and Dawnn Lewis.
