Mike Rutkowski, a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School in 2008, has made a significant impact in the film industry. After completing his studies, Mike wrote and directed a short film titled Purgatory Monologues, which premiered at the prestigious Cannes film festival and went on to win the best student short award at the New York International Independent Film Festival in 2009.
Since then, Mike has worked in the production department for film, television, and new media projects, collaborating with renowned filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, the Coen Brothers, David Ayer, Steven Brill, and Wally Pfister. Mike's dedication to his craft has led him to embark on his first feature film project, a paranormal horror thriller titled THE HOUSE OF LIZZIE BORDEN. The film, set for release early 2014 through ITN distribution, marks an exciting milestone in Mike's filmmaking journey.
