Mike Figueroa is a multifaceted individual, simultaneously pursuing a career as an actor, police officer, and active military member.
As a beloved mentor at Actors Playground School of Theater, one of the most highly regarded acting schools for kids and teens in the greater New York City area, Figueroa regularly volunteers his time to train with students and act in various school projects, fostering a passion for the performing arts in the next generation.
Beyond his acting career, Figueroa works as a Sheriff Officer, utilizing his expertise in law enforcement to serve and protect the community.
Additionally, Figueroa has served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve for the past 15 years, having spent time in combat overseas and continuing to teach an array of courses, including counter improvised explosive device tactics, route reconnaissance, driver training for armored vehicles, and more, demonstrating his dedication to his country and commitment to the military.
In his free time, Figueroa has also been an Aikido instructor for 10 years, as well as holding belts in Tae Kwon Do, Kempo karate, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, showcasing his proficiency in various martial arts disciplines.
Figueroa's academic background includes a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from St. Thomas Aquinas College, providing a strong foundation for his multifaceted career.
Currently, Figueroa resides with his wife and four children in New Jersey, balancing his demanding career with family life.
