Michael A. Figueroa, professionally known as Mike Dreyden, was born and raised in the vibrant neighborhoods of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. His fascination with acting began with his childhood enthusiasm for 1970s television shows, such as the iconic Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, and Man from Atlantis, as well as 1980s sitcoms like Family Ties, Growing Pains, and Who's the Boss?
With a strong foundation in the arts, Mike received his initial training in theater from his uncle, Pablo Figueroa, an independent filmmaker. He later enrolled at the renowned HB Studio, where he honed his skills in Scene Study and Improv under the guidance of esteemed instructors Uta Hagen and Trudy Steible.
Throughout his career, Mike has appeared in numerous Off-Off Broadway productions, independent films, and adult films, showcasing his versatility as an actor. Some of his notable roles include Larry in Goodby Seventies, Steve in Available Light, and the upcoming film This Side of Heaven by Todd Verow.
As a member of the esteemed Mirror Repertory Company, Mike had the privilege of working alongside acclaimed Broadway veteran Sabra Jones-McAteer and Alan Gordon of the Alan Gordon Studio in Greenwich Village. He has also participated in various workshops, further refining his craft.
In addition to his work in film and theater, Mike can be seen in the Child of the 70s web series by Michael Vaccaro and his own web series, LAST CALL.
