Michael Zhang is a Chinese American actor hailing from the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. This talented individual, along with his younger brother Matthew Zhang, first garnered attention for his impressive stand-up comedy skills, astonishing audiences with material he wrote at the remarkably young age of 12 at the world-renowned Hollywood Improv.
This early exposure led to a slew of dramatic roles in festival short films and a recurring position as a panelist on the popular internet series "Fresh Perspectives" (2011),alongside future SNL cast member Beck Bennett. Notably, his child acting career reached new heights when casting directors Sarah Finn and Randi Hiller selected him for a small yet significant supporting role in Marvel's The Avengers (2012).
In addition to his acting pursuits, Michael currently works as a freelance Game Capture Artist and Assistant Editor for the Overwatch League, a global city-based esports league. With his passion for telling cinematic stories featuring Asian representation, he leverages his education in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television to bring his vision to life on the small screen.
