Michael is a seasoned writer-director-producer with an impressive thirty-year tenure in the industry, boasting a diverse range of expertise across award-winning commercials, corporate films, and feature films.
With a wealth of experience in both live-action and visual effects, Michael has had the privilege of directing commercials at esteemed studios such as Aardman, Rhythm and Hues, and Partizan. Additionally, he has served as a Media Consultant to the United Nations Environmental Project UNEP.
Throughout his illustrious career, Michael has garnered numerous accolades across multiple industries, including Cannes Silver Lions, D&AD awards, Epica, British Television Awards, and more. Notably, he was the only European filmmaker shortlisted for the prestigious Akira Kurosawa Award in Japan in 2010 for his short film "Dark Side".
Michael's feature film credits include the psychological crime thriller "The Undertaker", starring Paul McGann and Tara Fitzgerald.
