Michael is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of experiences, having transitioned from a successful corporate career to pursue a full-time career in acting. He began his journey by graduating with top honors in both MBA and law degrees, followed by several years of intense corporate work on the East Coast, primarily in management consulting and start-up executive roles.
However, after facing various life challenges and realizations, he made the bold decision to leave behind his corporate life and enroll in full-time theater training in New York. Three years later, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting.
Michael's early career in independent film saw him take on leading and supporting roles in various productions, including "Lost Colony: The Legend of Roanoke," "White Wall," "2010: Moby Dick," and "Air Collision." His micro-budget feature film "The Daughter" won the Best Thriller category at WorldFest in 2013.
He has also made a name for himself in network television, with appearances on popular shows such as "Sleepy Hollow," "Criminal Minds," "Castle," and "Days of Our Lives." Michael has booked numerous series regular roles in pilots, including "Untitled Fantasy Pilot," "The Flip Side," "The Other Brother," "Blend In," and "Flashing Lives."
Notable teachers who have commended his abilities include Larry Moss, Susan Batson, and Austin Pendleton. In fact, Susan Batson wrote a recommendation for him for a lead role opposite Meryl Streep in "Dark Matter." Michael has also trained with other renowned coaches, such as Lesly Kahn, Stan Kirsch, John Rosenfeld, Margie Haber, K.C. Clyde, Matt Beisner, Gulu Monteiro, Jean-Louis Rodrigue, Kristof Konrad, and at UCB.
Throughout his career, Michael has traveled to 45 countries and 45 states, and has lived in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. As a result, he is an expert at multiple dialects and can work as a local in multiple countries and cities.
