Northwest native Michael has had a career spanning over three decades in the entertainment industry, accumulating an impressive array of credits that provide a unique perspective on the inner workings of commercial, television, and film production. This extensive experience has been instrumental in the making of numerous feature films.
With a background in acting, Michael has performed in over one hundred principal and leading roles across various mediums, including film, television, commercials, videos, computer games, and live theatre. He has also worked in numerous capacities within the film and commercial business, including SAG/AFTRA actor, stagehand with IATSE LOCAL 15, stand-in, production assistant, assistant director, casting director, location scout, grip, camera operator, and producer.
As a producer, Michael has collaborated with various independent filmmakers, starting his producing career over twenty years ago with Insanity Filmworks on the independent black comedy, Damaged Goods, which received international distribution through Panama Entertainment. He then went on to produce the independent short film, Continuum, with British director Jay Purcell, which premiered in Seattle. His subsequent producing credits include the mockumentary short film, The Wind Cries Marty, with Palmer Avery and a breakout performance by Kristen Manning.
Notably, as an actor, Michael has appeared in a wide range of television shows, including Northern Exposure, Nowhere Man, Unsolved Mysteries, and Medicine Ball, as well as independent films such as Damaged Goods, The Falling, Project London, Lost on the B-Side, The Addict, The Antelope Chess Game, The Standard, and most recently The Narrow Road, alongside the talented Shawn Justice. He has also made a memorable appearance in the CD ROM Game, Phantasmagoria ll: A Puzzle of Flesh, among many other roles.
