Michael Sládek is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of talents and accomplishments in the film industry. As a filmmaker, he has made a name for himself with his feature-length films, including Con Artist, BAM150, and Devils Are Dreaming, which have garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards.
In addition to his work in feature films, Sládek has also directed and produced numerous shorts, music videos, and web series, showcasing his versatility and creativity. One of his notable shorts is the animated short We Live On Your Street, which won the Slamdance Jury Award.

Sládek chose this book because it is the most tattered and worn, a testament to how much he has learned from it and continues to draw inspiration from its wisdom.
