Michael Sart was born Nicola Patrick Michael Centonze in Paris, France, to an Italian father and a French-English mother. He grew up between France and Italy, with his uncle being the famous Italian actor Aldo Danieli, who created the influential dubbing studio ADC group in 1975.
Michael was a energetic and athletic child, participating in various sports such as judo, vovinam, snow skiing, tennis, ping pong, and soccer, even finishing on the podium in European competitions. He also attended the prestigious French acting school Rene Simon and later graduated with a Master's Degree in French literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
To please his father, Michael pursued a career in television, starting an internship with respected French journalist and TV host Michel Drucker. He quickly became part of the team and worked there for several years. However, he eventually decided to attend the Atelier International de Theatre de Blanche Salant et Paul Weaver, the acting school that produced celebrities such as Vincent Cassel, Amira Casar, and Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi.
Unfortunately, Michael's father became seriously ill, and he had to make some difficult decisions. He put aside his work in television to join his family's jewelry business in Paris, but continued to perform on stage, appearing in French classic plays such as "The Doctor in Spite of Himself" and "Faisons un Reve".
In 2010, Michael wrote and performed in his own comedy "Opposites Attract", which received great reviews and was performed in various places, including the famous Parisian theatre Point Virgule.
Two years later, Michael wrote and shot his own web series "The Family Closet", which was nominated for best actor and best director at several US festivals. The same year, his first daughter was born, and his father passed away on Christmas day.
In 2013, Michael moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career, and appeared in the highly acclaimed Italian motion picture "Human Capital", directed by Paolo Virzi. The film won 46 awards worldwide and is available on Netflix.
Michael has also performed roles in shorts such as "Midnight" and the multi-award-winning web series "Carbon Dating", produced and played by Michael Gross. He will appear in the upcoming film "One Under The Sun" alongside Pooja Batra, Gene Farber, and Ava Cantrell.
Michael is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
