Michael Ostrowski, a talented individual, was born on January 3, 1973, in Leoben, Austria, to a family of school teachers, specifically Michael Stockinger. During his academic pursuits, Ostrowski studied English/American Studies and French at the University of Graz, where he simultaneously honed his acting skills by participating in a local theater group.

As his academic pursuits neared completion, Ostrowski found himself drawn more to the world of acting, and instead of completing his dissertation, he devoted his time to writing the script for the film "Nacktschnecken". This marked the beginning of his foray into the film industry.

Ostrowski's big break came in 2004 with the film "Slugs", directed by the renowned Michael Glawogger, in which he played a significant role. This was followed by notable performances in "Slumming" (2006) and "Contact High" (2009),both of which were also directed by Glawogger.
