Biography

Michael, a native Angeleno, has been deeply entrenched in the world of filmmaking for several years, his passion and dedication evident in the numerous projects he has undertaken. At the tender age of 19, his inaugural short film, "Our Lost Translation", made its debut at the prestigious LA Shorts Fest, a testament to his burgeoning talent.

After graduating at the top of his class from San Diego State University with a degree in film, Michael returned to his hometown of Los Angeles, his future in the industry looking bright. His subsequent endeavors have only served to solidify his position as a rising star in the world of filmmaking.

In 2011, Michael's directorial debut, "The Last Wish", premiered at a string of festivals, garnering widespread acclaim and numerous awards, including the coveted Sierra Nevada Award at the 2012 Mountain Film Awards. This early success was followed by his feature film debut, "Misogynist", which he wrote, produced, and directed in 2013. The film's impressive run at the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival earned Michael the award for Best Narrative Feature.

Since then, Michael has continued to hone his craft, producing a string of successful feature films, including the action-packed thriller "Chase", which was released in 2019 through Vertical Entertainment and went on to win multiple awards, including Best Action Film at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival.
