Michael Meher McGuire is a multifaceted film industry professional, renowned for his impressive body of work as a producer, writer, and director. His notable credits include the feature films Electrick Children (2012),Color Out of Space (2019),and Resurrection (2022),showcasing his versatility and expertise in the field.
Born and raised in the Midwest, McGuire's upbringing was marked by a rich cultural environment, with his mother being an artist and his father a pianist-turned-physician. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 and later received his Master of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute in 2009.
Throughout his career, McGuire has produced a diverse range of independent feature films, including Guadalupe the Virgin (2011),starring Diana Garcia and Noah Segan, Dead Women Walking (2018),and Summer of 8 (2016). He has also produced music videos, such as the final music video for Chris Cornell of Soundgarden ("The Promise," 2017),and won a 2019 Clio Award for an Experiential Campaign for the Universal Pictures film, Hobbs & Shaw.
