Michael Cameron Lohan was born on December 16, 1987, in New York, New York, to Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan. As the younger brother of renowned actress Lindsay Lohan, born on July 2, 1986, and the older brother of Aliana Lohan, born on December 22, 1993, and Dakota "Cody" Lohan, born on June 16, 1996.
Michael's initial foray into the film industry was in Disney's 1998 production, The Parent Trap, where he portrayed the role of the "Lost Boy at Camp". Prior to this, when he was young, he would frequently travel with his mother and younger siblings, serving as uncredited extras in various films. Furthermore, he was a Ford Model, similar to his siblings, including Cody, Lindsay, and Aliana.
During his youth, Michael would accompany his mother and siblings to film sets, where they would often appear as uncredited extras. However, when his sister Lindsay took a hiatus from acting in 2001, Michael decided to follow suit and focus on his education instead. In contrast to Lindsay's return to acting, Michael chose to remain in New York and attend high school, ultimately graduating from Sanford H. Calhoun High School in Merrick, New York, in 2006.
After completing high school, Michael pursued higher education, enrolling in Ithaca College, where he majored in Business Administration and graduated in 2010.
