Michael Cuomo is a highly acclaimed and award-winning actor and producer with a remarkable career spanning film, television, and theater. He has co-starred in and produced several critically acclaimed feature films, including "What Breaks the Ice" and "The Light of the Moon", which premiered at the SXSW and Hamptons International Film Festivals respectively.
Michael has also produced the critically acclaimed feature film "Happy New Year", which premiered at the SXSW and Hamptons International Film Festivals, garnering strong reviews and winning six awards, including Cuomo for Best Actor and Manning for Breakout Director.
Recent film and television projects include "Nanny", "Life & Beth", "Bilions", "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Orange is the New Black", and "Daniel Isn't Real". Michael was awarded the Ambassador Award at the 40th Rhode Island International Film Festival, an Academy Awards qualifying festival for the short film category.
As a performer, Michael has had a successful career in Off-Broadway theaters throughout NYC, including Rattlestick, The Actor's Studio, Naked Angels, Dixon Place, and The Barrow Group. He has also appeared in numerous national on-camera commercial campaigns, including Bank of America, Travelocity, Samsung, ATT, Bailey's, Bank of America, SEAT Ibiza, Levissima, and General Electric.
Michael is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, and holds a degree from Loyola University of Maryland. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
