Michael Bronner is a multifaceted professional with a diverse range of expertise in journalism, screenwriting, producing, and directing. Having spent many years as a staff producer at CBS News/60 Minutes, Bronner transitioned into feature film in 2005, bringing with him a wealth of experience in long-form magazine writing for esteemed publications such as Vanity Fair, Foreign Policy, and others.
Bronner's foray into film saw him collaborate with acclaimed director Paul Greengrass and producer Lloyd Levin on the Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning United 93, as well as the critically acclaimed Green Zone, which starred Matt Damon and Khalid Abdalla. He later reunited with Greengrass on the hit film Captain Phillips, featuring Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi.
Bronner's impressive body of work has garnered him numerous accolades, including nominations for writing and producing BAFTA Awards for his work on The Mauritanian, starring Tahar Rahim, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Jodie Foster.
