Michael Connell Biehn, a renowned actor, was born on July 31, 1956, in Anniston, Alabama, to Marcia (Connell) and Don Biehn, a lawyer. His early life was marked by frequent moves, as his family relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska, when he was a young boy. At the tender age of 14, Biehn's family made another significant move to Lake Havasu, Arizona, where he would eventually win a drama scholarship to the University of Arizona.
Although Biehn's academic pursuits were impressive, his true passion lay in the world of acting. Two years into his university education, he made the bold decision to leave his studies behind and pursue a career in Hollywood. This bold move would ultimately prove to be a turning point in his life, as it led to a string of notable roles in various films.
Biehn's breakthrough performance came in 1981, when he played the role of a psychotic fan stalking Lauren Bacall in the film The Fan. He continued to hone his craft, appearing in The Lords of Discipline in 1983. However, it was his role as Kyle Reese in James Cameron's sci-fi classic The Terminator (1984) that truly catapulted him to stardom.
