Michael Baez is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. As the founder of BaezEntertainment, Inc, he has successfully produced over 300 television commercials that have been broadcast on prominent networks such as MTV, VH1, BET, Nickelodeon, MSG, and CNN.
In addition to his work in television commercials, Michael has also ventured into film production and direction. He has produced and directed three feature films and seven short films, showcasing his versatility and range as a filmmaker. One of his most notable projects is the award-winning one-woman show "Nude in New York", which has received critical acclaim on both the East and West coasts.
Michael's upcoming projects include a supernatural/horror trilogy consisting of "De La Cruz", "Muertos", and "Butterfly in the Fire", which has been recognized as a Top 5 Finalist in the HBO New York Latino International Film Festival's Screenplay Competition.
Throughout his career, Michael has been an active member of various organizations, including the Independent Feature Project and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. He has also received two scholarships from the New York Film Academy, where he graduated from.
In addition to his work in film and television, Michael has also ventured into playwriting and has written feature screenplays such as "Racket", "Brush With Death", "Dragon Quest", and "Spanish Harlem". Furthermore, he has assisted in the direction of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Anna in the Tropics" by Nilo Cruz for the South Coast Repertory Theatre, as well as several independent films, including "How the Garcia Girls Spent their Summer", which was an official selection of the Sundance film festival.
