Biography

The esteemed British character actor, whose illustrious career spanned an impressive four decades, from 1939 to 1986. He began his theatrical journey with productions such as "French Without Tears", "Othello", where he famously portrayed the iconic role of "the Moor", a part he had already mastered at the tender age of seventeen in a school production, as well as "She Stoops to Conquer" and "Jeeves".
