Merik Tadros, a talented individual, was born on April 15th, 1983, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, USA. He began his academic journey by studying Theatre Arts and Cinema for one semester at the prestigious University of Iowa. However, his thirst for knowledge and passion for the performing arts led him to pursue further education at The Groundlings Theatre and Stella Adler Academy of Acting's conservatory program in Hollywood.
Merik's professional acting career took off with his role as "Tony the Cowboy" in Steven Spielberg's Munich. He has since appeared in numerous television shows, including NCIS, 24, CSI Miami, E-Ring, and Notes From The Underbelly. His film credits include Crossing Over, where he starred alongside Harrison Ford and Cliff Curtis, as well as the two-part NCIS pilot spin-off titled Legend for NCIS: Los Angeles.
Beyond his acting pursuits, Merik has also made a name for himself as a filmmaker. His passion project, The Bardo, a short film he wrote and directed, premiered at The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in September 2007. In 2012, he wrote and directed Behind The Horror, a mockumentary dark comedy that delves into the making of a horror film. The film received critical acclaim, earning nominations and awards at various film festivals.
Currently, Merik is working on adapting his first graphic novel, River Jordan, into a screenplay. The book, published by World Revealed Ink, has been exclusively distributed in North America and has been released in English, Arabic, and Japanese versions. The English version debuted at Chicago's C2E2 in the spring of 2011, while the Arabic version was released at the first Middle East Film & Comic Con in Dubai in April 2012. The Japanese version is set to be released in Tokyo in 2018.
