As a multifaceted artist, Memo's work is informed by a diverse tool-set, comprising influences from African dance, Suzuki, Sculpture, Photography, Viewpoints, technology, writing, Film Art Direction, and more. This unique blend of disciplines enables Memo to navigate a broad spectrum of creative exploration.
Throughout their career, Memo has sought opportunities to collaborate on innovative and interdisciplinary projects. Their latest endeavors have focused on the realm of film, where they continue to push boundaries and experiment with new techniques.
Memo's professional journey has taken them to New York City, where they relocated in 2002. Prior to establishing themselves as an Airbnb host, they held a variety of gigs, including sculpting for the iconic Holiday Windows, voice-over work for the National Guard, filing folders labeled "Mesothelioma" for a prominent law firm, and even making a memorable appearance on Law and Order SVU.
In addition to their artistic pursuits, Memo has also had the privilege of working as an educator with various communities, including underprivileged immigrant children in South Florida and NYC students on the Autism Spectrum. Now, as a "multi-coastal" individual, Memo is actively seeking opportunities as an actor, while simultaneously writing and producing their own projects.
