Melanie Specht, a talented individual, was born in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., and spent her formative years in Fairfax, Virginia, alongside her older sister and loving parents. Her family affectionately dubbed her "a little Sarah Bernhardt" from a young age, as her theatrical antics and flair for drama were evident even in her earliest years.
Melanie's passion for horses led her to attend a prestigious sleep-away horseback riding camp every summer during her youth. Her love for dance began at the tender age of four, and it was only natural that she joined her high school's dance team, performing with them annually at the UDA National Dance Team Championship competition, broadcast on ESPN.
Melanie's academic pursuits took her to Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. During her college years, she indulged her love of travel by spending a summer semester abroad in Paris, France.
Melanie's impressive resume boasts appearances in numerous TV shows and films, including The Young and The Restless, Something Sweet, Passions, The Ex List, Body of Proof, and Entourage. She has also discovered her natural gift for comedy and is a proud member of the Straitjacket Society, a sketch company.
