Meera Ganatra's life journey began in Uganda, where she was born, before she relocated to West London to grow up. Her professional career in theatre commenced with extensive touring across England, Europe, and Canada alongside renowned Indian theatre companies such as Vyaas Productions, J P Productions, and Bharatiya Vidha Bhavan. She further honed her craft by participating in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Just Born Theatre Company, a co-developed and co-written piece. Prior to her theatrical pursuits, Meera earned a pharmacy degree from Kings College London.
She then pursued a one-year postgraduate drama course at the London International School of Acting. Meera's theatrical work includes collaborations with Theatre Lab Company and other notable companies, with performances at esteemed venues such as the Courtyard Theatre, Kings Head, Belgrade Festival, Dublin Theatre festival, and Athens theatre festival.
Meera's television work features a six-part drama series, "PREMature," where she played a leading role as Neelam. Her film credits include "The Question" and "Three Dots and a Dash." In addition to her acting career, Meera has also worked on commercial projects, including an NHS Public Health Campaign and a No Cold Homes Campaign.
After taking time off to start a family, Meera is now a proud mother of two boys and successfully balances her pharmacy work and acting career simultaneously.
