May is a multifaceted Australian-born, Singapore-raised artist, boasting a remarkable career as an actor, writer, and director. Her professional stage debut was a memorable one, as she took on the role of Martha in the Queensland Performing Arts Centre's production of Spring Awakening in 2011. Since then, she has toured various theatre shows across Australia, while also making appearances in TV shows such as "Untold Stories of the ER" on TLC and "Old School" produced by Matchbox Pictures.
May's recent acting credits include starring alongside Valter Skarsgård in the film "Don't Click" for Vortex Pictures, as well as the comedy short "Bait & Switch", which earned her the accolade of Best International Comedy at both the LA Comedy Film Festival and the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival. Her debut feature film, Zombie Bro, is currently in distribution negotiations, with the story revolving around a young girl's mission to eliminate her biting brother before he infects her family. Inspired by the work of Taika Waititi, May's dream mentor, the film has garnered praise for its unique blend of comedy and horror, earning awards for "Best Comedy Horror" and "Best Young Actors", with numerous online reviews.
