Person biography:
Max, a native of Hempstead, New York, was born in 1964 and grew up loving lacrosse. He never had the skills for football, basketball, or baseball, but excelled in cross-country running. He eventually fell in love with lacrosse, which remains his favorite sport to this day.
Max is a military veteran of two services, having served in the U.S. Army Reserve and the U.S. Navy. In the Army, he was a leader in his unit, serving as an I.T. Field Help Desk leader, a qualified combat medic, a Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) operator, and a squad leader. He also served on two nuclear-powered submarines and made three submarine patrols.
After leaving the military, Max pursued a career in acting, appearing in numerous stage and television productions. He has played a wide range of roles, including Macbeth, Tom Robinson, Crooks, and Jamal al-Harith. He has also appeared in several regional commercials and has a strong background in improvisation.
In addition to his acting career, Max is a writer, having written three screenplays. One of his screenplays did well at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012, while another did not make the cut in a scriptwriting contest. His latest screenplay is a remake of the 1974 action film "Three the Hard Way" as a modern-day superhero franchise trilogy.
Max is proud of his military service and is passionate about lacrosse, acting, and writing. He is currently looking for bigger film and television roles and hopes to continue pushing lacrosse as an Olympic sport.
