Born on September 22, 1988, in Nuernberg, Germany, Max Huang is a multifaceted actor of German and Chinese ethnicity, whose recent notable role is that of 'Kung Lao' in Simon McQuoid's Mortal Kombat Reboot (2021),a production jointly brought to the big screen by Warner Bros and HBO Max.

Max Huang's career began with a remarkable start, as he had the opportunity to work alongside the renowned martial arts expert Jackie Chan and his stunt team. This experience laid the foundation for his subsequent work on and appearance in over 20 productions across English, German, and Chinese languages.

Notable credits in his impressive repertoire include Police Story 2013, The Foreigner, and Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Beyond his work in film, Max has dedicated himself to perfecting his unique style of contemporary screen combat. In 2019, he made his directorial and acting debut with the award-winning German original action short, No Way Out.

Outside of his film endeavors, Max has also explored his passion for Wushu under the guidance of Shanghai Wushu Team member Wang Peng Cheng. His dedication to the art form was rewarded with a Gold medal at The German Wushu Nationals in 2009.
