Seven years later, as the national touring company of the esteemed production "Tea and Sympathy" reached the West Coast and subsequently came to a close, the actor elected to remain in the City of Angels, thus marking his Hollywood movie debut in the 1956 sci-fi thriller The Creature Walks Among Us. In this cinematic endeavour, he played the role of a scientist, part of a team employed by the illustrious actor Jeff Morrow, with whom he had previously collaborated during his summer stock days.
