Matthias's journey in the world of arts and entertainment began with his attendance of the "On Camera Training Program" at The Green Room Studio, where he honed his acting skills alongside his peers. He further refined his craft through "Acting and Scene Study" at Second City in Chicago, as well as "Drama I, II, III," and Literature & Film Studies classes at M.S.H.S.
Matthias's passion for the arts extends beyond acting, as he is also an enthusiast of music, dance, and theater. His experience as a dancer for CYM (AYAC) at Navy Pier and Christmas Around the World - Museum of Science and Industry showcases his versatility and dedication to his craft. He has also performed for Flash Mob America as a dancer, alongside artist Aloe Blacc, in an IMAX movie, "Americas Musical Journey."
In addition to his performance background, Matthias is a skilled lyricist, engaging in freestyle rap battles and enjoying the art of throwing down lyrics. His first appearance as a model was on The Steve Harvey Show in Chicago for Burlington Coat Factory, marking the beginning of his modeling career.
Matthias has since modeled for various fashion shows and events, including Walk Fashion Show, LHC-VIP, Insatiable Creations, and Live out Loud Charily. He is currently working with Keep it Klassy Models and Walk it Out Fashion and Hair Show, and has walked the runway during New York Fashion Week, Walk Milwaukee, Art Basel Fashion Show in Miami, and the great city of Chicago. He has also participated in charity events, using his platform to support a good cause.
Matthias's first experience on a film set was in 2015 for Chiraq the Series, where he worked alongside influential film crew and actors from Chicago. This networking opportunity led him to venture out to more independent film producers, and he has since worked on several short films, commercials, and music videos.
His first commercial was in 2016 for "Independence," where he was upgraded to a principal performer for Comcast/Xfinity TV. In 2018, he participated in The Chicago 48 HR Film Festival, winning The Runner Up Audience Award for his short film, (Bada Boom). He has also appeared in multiple music videos, including the most notable one with Local H, "Innocents," which was nominated for several film festivals.
Matthias is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, alongside Acting & Film Studies in his college years.
