Matthew Nadu embarked on his acting journey as a Water Nation Warrior in M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender, despite initially exaggerating about his karate skills. He eventually adapted and went on to perform his own stunts as Sarge in the comedy film "Booted", starring alongside Alan Ruck, known for his iconic roles in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Spin City, as well as Ryan Dunn, a member of the Jackass crew.
Nadu subsequently secured supporting roles in two indie horror films, "Nobody Gets Out Alive" (2013),featuring Clint Howard, known for his appearances in The Water Boy and Apollo 13, and "Hallow's Eve" (2012),alongside horror queens Danielle Harris and Ashley C. Williams.
In 2013, Nadu collaborated with Howard and Williams once more, this time acting and producing alongside horror legends Bill Moseley and Lisa Wilcox in the thriller "The Church" and its sequel "The Church; Second Offering". Additionally, he made a brief appearance alongside Harrison Ford and Liam Hemsworth in the film "Paranoia" that same year.
In the spring of 2012, Nadu appeared in his second national commercial, "Dance, Dance 2", for ESPN's "Streak for the Stache" campaign. Alongside his work in film and commercials, Nadu is transitioning into television, having contributed to several episodes of MTV's "Guy Code" and "Girl Code", as well as appearing in 50Cent and Trey Songz's 2014 music video "Smoke" alongside Corey Parker Robinson, known for his role in The Wire.
Nadu has also had a successful career in theater, starring in productions such as Derrell Lawerence's "Do You Trust Your Best Friend", alongside Sean Blakemore, Monifah, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, and Chris Williams, as well as the Stockholm Fringe Festival invitee "As Wicked As Dangerous".
Born in Philadelphia, Nadu is the eldest of nine children and has a background in on-air talent, having worked as a member of CBS3/The CWPhilly's "The Crew".
