Matthew Holmes is a renowned Australian director, writer, and producer who has made a significant impact in the film industry. His journey began as a stop-motion animator, sculptor, and story-board artist at Anifex Pty Ltd, a prestigious animation company in Adelaide.
Matthew's self-funded debut feature, "Twin Rivers," was completed in 2007. Notably, the film was mentored by acclaimed director Rolf De Heer, who also brought in his regular collaborators to assist with the post-production process.
His sophomore feature, "The Legend of Ben Hall," started as a highly successful crowd-funded short before being developed into an independently-financed feature film.
