Matthew, a native of the picturesque rural lakes region of Western Maine, now calls the Portland area home, where he resides with his loving wife Emily and their two young offspring.
Following the completion of his collegiate education, which featured a dual concentration in Finance and English, Matthew embarked on an acting career, marking a significant departure from his earlier pursuits. Prior to delving into the world of acting, he had played semi-professional football and worked as a banker in Portland, Maine.
Matthew's passion for acting was first kindled through his involvement in community theater in Western Maine, a venture that ultimately led him to pursue his true calling on numerous stages across New England and in television and film productions.
Throughout his journey, Matthew has expressed his gratitude for every role he has undertaken, and he has made it a point to balance his acting career with quality time spent with his family, as well as his work with his wife's photography company and his role as the Chief Financial Officer of Oxbow Brewing Company in Maine.
