Matthew Bohrer, a San Diego native, embarked on his acting career by performing in various plays with the renowned Playwrights Project at the Tony Award-winning Old Globe Theatre. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Drama from Harvard University, he made his mark on the stage as "Eddie" in Center Theatre Group's production of Neil Simon's "The Sunshine Boys" at the Ahmanson Theater, sharing the spotlight with esteemed actors Danny DeVito and Judd Hirsch.
Following his success, Matthew returned to Center Theatre Group to star in the world premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play "Marjorie Prime" at the Mark Taper Forum. His impressive television credits include recurring roles on the Amazon original drama series "Goliath" alongside Billy Bob Thornton, as well as guest appearances in two distinct roles on the critically acclaimed Showtime drama "Masters of Sex."
Matthew's extensive television resume also includes appearances on popular shows such as "Grown-ish," "Modern Family," "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," "House of Lies," and "I Didn't Do It." Furthermore, he has played the recurring role of "Henry Sullivan" on the long-running soap opera "General Hospital."
When not working on set, Matthew can be found honing his skills in boxing and playing the guitar. He is a passionate singer of classic standards, often performing renditions of timeless tunes made famous by legendary artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Chet Baker. An avid sports fan, Matthew is a loyal supporter of the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Chargers, despite the emotional toll it takes on him. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
