Marta Aura embarked on her illustrious acting career in 1959, commencing her artistic journey at the INJM (National Institute of the Mexican Youth),where she honed her craft in the realm of drama. Subsequently, she pursued further studies at the esteemed INBA (Fine Arts National Institute),laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to the performing arts.

Throughout her distinguished career, Marta Aura has had the privilege of collaborating with the most prominent and celebrated stage directors in Mexico, solidifying her reputation as a talented and versatile actress. Her exceptional work has been widely recognized by the Mexican theater critics, who have bestowed upon her two prestigious prizes and numerous nominations for her captivating performances in productions such as "La morsa," "La fiaca," "Antigone," and "El pelicano."
