Marlene Morreis

Marlene Morreis's life journey began in Austria and Germany, where she was nurtured in a cultural melting pot that would later influence her artistic endeavors. She went on to pursue higher education in Scandinavian Literature at the prestigious University of Munich, Germany, ultimately earning a Master's degree that would serve as a solid foundation for her future career. During her graduate school years, Morreis caught the attention of acclaimed filmmaker Klaus Lemke, who cast her in his guerilla film "Running out of Cool". She also showcased her acting talents on stage, taking on supporting roles in various productions at a dinner theater where she worked as a waitress at the time. Following a series of adventurous stints in Sweden and Alaska, Morreis made the bold decision to relocate to New York City in 2005, where she enrolled at the renowned The New School for Drama. Her hard work and dedication paid off, as she earned an M.F.A. in Acting in 2008. Since then, Morreis has established herself as a versatile and talented actress, appearing in numerous TV and film productions in both the United States and her native Germany and Austria, quickly becoming a household name.
