Marko Zaror is a renowned Chilean martial arts action star and fight choreographer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. His journey in the world of martial arts began at a young age, with his mother, a Black belt in Karate, taking him to the gym when he was just a baby. Inspired by the legendary Bruce Lee, Marko started training himself at the age of six and by the time he was 18, he had become an exceptional martial artist.
Marko's passion for martial arts led him to Mexico, where he found success in modeling, walking the runway for fashion shows. However, he soon received a study grant in Televisa and began acting in local movies. Despite his success, Marko never lost his passion for martial arts and eventually made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles.
Zaror's big break in the Hollywood industry came when he was cast as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's stunt double in the movie "The Rundown," earning him a World Stunt award. He then gained international recognition as the lead and producer of indie action cult films such as "Kitro," "Mirageman," "Mandrill," and "Redeemer," which premiered at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and received international and domestic distribution.
Marko's performance as the villain "Dolor" in Isaac Florentine's "Undisputed 3" earned him a nomination for best villain and worldwide recognition for his physical skills and acting abilities. His breakthrough role came when Robert Rodriguez discovered him and wrote a role for him in "Machete Kills." Since then, Marko has developed a promising career, appearing in various series and movies, including the series "From Dusk Till Dawn" and the highly anticipated action saga "John Wick 4," in which he plays the role of "Chidi," one of Wick's main pursuers.
Marko's latest film, "Fist of The Condor," which premiered at the 2023 Rotterdam Film Festival in Germany, has been selected for the Alamo Drafthouse Fantastic Fest Presents series.
