Biography

Mark Webber is a multifaceted artist who has made a significant impact in the film industry as both an actor and a director. With a vast repertoire of over 40 films under his belt, he has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned directors such as Jim Jarmusch, Todd Solondz, Lynn Shelton, Thomas Vinterberg, Lars Von Trier, Edgar Wright, and Gus Van Sant, to name a few.

As a director, Webber's debut film "Explicit Ills" garnered critical acclaim, winning the audience award and best cinematography award at the 2008 SXSW film festival. His subsequent film, "The End Of Love", received a grand jury prize nomination at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

Taking a bold step towards the future of independent filmmaking, Webber self-distributed his third film, "The Ever After", following its world premiere at the L.A. Film Festival. His fourth film, "Flesh and Blood", marked his return to SXSW in 2017, where it earned a nomination for the Adam Yauch Visionary award.

Webber's most recent film, "The Place Of No Words", premiered at the 2019 Tribeca film festival and garnered a best picture nomination.
