Mark was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and spent his formative years moving around the Midwest, with extended stays in Michigan, Minnesota, where he attended the University of Minnesota, and more recently, Chicago, Illinois.
His career in the entertainment industry took off when he landed a job at "The Oprah Winfrey Show," and a twist of fate led him to become one of the audience warm-up guys, a role that still holds a special place in his heart.
During this time, he began studying improvisation at The Second City in Chicago, before deciding to relocate to Los Angeles, where he continued his training at the renowned Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Mark also starred in one-acts for The Katselas Theatre Company, and made notable on-camera appearances, including a memorable role as the bong-smoking adult party-goer in the hit film Superbad, and appearances on Love Bites, The Mentalist, and CSI.
He also co-wrote and starred in the short film "The Ricochet," which premiered at the Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival and The Other Venice Film Festival.
Mark is married to entertainment lawyer Jennifer Provencher, and the couple resides in the picturesque Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles.
