Mark Maness embarked on his cinematic journey at the tender age of 10, when he received an 8mm GAF movie camera as a Christmas gift. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for filmmaking, which would soon evolve into a prolific career.
As a high school student, Mark teamed up with a group of friends to create a science fiction movie, which garnered regional attention in the southwest. This early success paved the way for a career that would span decades, with Mark going on to produce and shoot numerous outdoor-oriented films for prominent networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, WTBS, Versus, Outdoor Channel, and Fox Sports Net.
Mark's impressive client list includes household names like Walmart, Triton Boats, WC Bradley Company, and many others. His national airing commercials have been a staple on television screens across the country.
In addition to his commercial work, Mark has also produced several music videos, including the multiple award-winning "Work It Like A Pro" for Werkhouz records and "Room Keys" for the rap artist Mysta Lucky.
Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated his versatility as a filmmaker by taking on a wide range of projects. Some of his notable features include the critically acclaimed "Tomorrow Never Comes" (TNC Productions),"Top Cop" (Crown International),"Little Marines 2" (D.P. and Editor, Magic Hour Productions),and his own horror/thriller "Birthrite" for Gopher Broke Productions, Inc.
Mark's latest venture is the 2017 completed and multiple award-winning horror/thriller "It Knows", which is set to be released by the Bosko Group on most major VOD platforms in 2018. Mark Maness Productions is also currently developing two new films, "When the Dead Laugh" and "Hard Place".
