Biography

Marin Gazzaniga is a multifaceted creative professional with a diverse portfolio of work in theater, television, and film. She has co-created, written, and executive produced pilots for Hulu and Freeform, including the critically acclaimed series "The Line" alongside Serena da Conceicao and Ilana Glazer.

In addition to her work in television, Gazzaniga has made significant contributions to the world of film. She co-headwrote the final Emmy-nominated season of "One Life to Live" for Hulu, and her original web series "Like So Many Things..." was co-created, written, and produced with Anslem Richardson, later sold to IFC. Gazzaniga also co-produced and co-starred in the film adaptation of her play "So Close" alongside John Ellison Conlee.

As a seasoned producer, Gazzaniga has worked with top entertainment brands, including HBO, AMC, Lionsgate, and Turner Networks, creating digital content that showcases her impressive range and versatility. Prior to her work in entertainment, Gazzaniga spent seven years as Senior Digital Features Editor in the marketing department at HBO, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of the industry.

Gazzaniga is also dedicated to mentoring and developing the next generation of screen and television writers and producers. As director of the New York Stage and Film Filmmakers' Workshop, she provides guidance and support to early-career professionals looking to break into the industry.

Throughout her career, Gazzaniga's plays have been developed and produced by a range of esteemed institutions, including The Civilians, LAByrinth Theater Co., Rising Phoenix Rep, Primary Stages ESPA, Echo Theater Company, and Santa Fe Theatre, among others.

Before transitioning to her career in entertainment, Gazzaniga began her professional journey in journalism and communications, working at Vogue, NBC News, and Victim Services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Comparative Literature from Columbia College and a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the City University of New York.
