Marie-Noelle Marquis, a multifaceted artist, was born in Riviere-du-loup, Quebec, Canada. Following her academic pursuits in theatre at St-Hyacinthe college, she relocated to Los Angeles to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 1999.
During her tenure at the Academy, Marquis secured her first leading role in the short film "The Kiss", marking the beginning of her journey in the entertainment industry. Initially focused on acting, she soon discovered her passion for film production, which led her to explore this new creative outlet in 2002.
Over the past two decades, Marquis has been involved in over 43 film and theater projects, showcasing her impressive range as a performer. In addition to her acting endeavors, she has written several screenplays, including the first 33 episodes of a short-form drama series titled After Hours.
In 2010, Marquis made her directorial debut with the pilot episode of After Hours, which she also produced. Since then, she has continued to grow as a filmmaker, establishing Entity Media Entertainment in 2013.
Aside from her work behind the camera, Marquis remains an active actor in Los Angeles, having honed her craft at Jim Jarrett's Meisner Technique Studio and Playhouse West.
