Marie Marshall hails from the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, where she was born to loving parents, Jane and Ralph E. Marshall, making her the youngest of two siblings. Her academic pursuits took her to North Texas State University, where she honed her skills before furthering her education at The University of Texas at Austin, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Marie's foray into the world of television began in 1985, when she landed the role of Denise Darcy on the popular soap opera 'As the World Turns', a position she held until 1988. Following her departure from the show, she went on to appear in an impressive array of national commercials, with over one hundred credits to her name over the next five years.
As her career continued to flourish, Marie made a series of guest appearances on various television shows, ultimately leading her to make the bold move to Los Angeles. It was in this new environment that she landed a co-starring role opposite the renowned comedian Billy Connolly in the short-lived sitcom 'Billy', which also featured the talented Johnny Galecki as her on-screen son.
