Maria upbringing's as the daughter of a fighter pilot granted her the extraordinary privilege of traversing numerous countries during her formative years, exposing her to a diverse array of cultures and richness that have profoundly influenced her design philosophy to this day.
As she grew older, Maria's passion for the arts and creative expression only intensified, ultimately driving her to pursue a career in the film industry. With a keen sense of purpose, she set her sights on becoming a Production Designer for Motion Pictures and television.
Maria's professional journey began with a stint as a Set Decorator on the iconic film, "The Terminator," where she was also entrusted with the responsibilities of the Art Director. This early experience laid the groundwork for her future success, and Maria went on to work on the critically acclaimed television series, "Deadwood," earning her an Emmy Award for her outstanding contributions.
A devoted mother to her son, Forest Terry, Maria credits him as her greatest source of inspiration. Born in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Maria now calls Los Angeles, California her home, where she resides alongside her two sisters and one brother, all of whom are also actively involved in the film industry.
