With over two decades of experience, Marcello's journey has been marked by numerous accomplishments. He holds the distinction of being the youngest casting director to have a film, The Beat (Showtime),premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. At Asylum Entertainment, he played a key role in launching, building, and expanding the talent and literary management division, representing actors, writers, and unscripted reality talent. His efforts in developing and packaging talent led to the first network pilot at VH1, Arranged.
Marcello's expertise in production and casting extends across a wide range of mediums, including feature films, music videos, commercials, and shorts. Some of his notable credits include the award-winning indie feature Against The Grain (FilmWorks),Red Is The Color Of (Bear Island Films),How Weed Won The West (Sacred Cow),Los Traficantes (Rise),Celebrity Feuds (E!),and Arranged (VH1),among many others. His diverse industry experience also includes roles at New Regency Productions, David O'Connor Casting, and RD Entertainment.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Marcello's inspiring life story of resilience was featured on the front page of the Chicago Tribune Newspaper on February 13, 2000, when he was just seventeen. His journey led him to pursue studies in theater, music history, and public policy at UCLA.
