Phillip Rosenberg's early life was marked by a sense of adventure, as he was raised in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas. Following his graduation from the University of Texas, Austin, Rosenberg set out to explore the world, and his travels took him to London, where he worked as an estate agent. His thirst for adventure led him to hitch-hike through most of Europe and Asia, experiencing the diverse cultures and landscapes of these regions. Eventually, his travels brought him to Sydney, Australia, where he arrived with a mere $7 in his pocket. Undeterred, Rosenberg found work in a dye factory, and it was here that he began to lay the foundation for his future success. His hard work and determination eventually caught the attention of the prestigious Australian Film and Television School, which accepted him into their esteemed 'Writers in Residence' program. During his time at the school, Rosenberg had the opportunity to study alongside some of Australia's most talented emerging filmmakers, including Jane Campion, Alex Proyas, P.J. Hogan, and Mark Lewis. Following his graduation, Rosenberg was invited by renowned director Phillip Noyce to collaborate on the screenplay for the film "Heatwave", which starred the acclaimed actress Judy Davis. After several years of working in the Australian film industry, Rosenberg made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he has since established a new home.
