Biography

Marc Messenger is a multifaceted creative professional with a strong background in writing and film direction, particularly notable for his work on computer-generated (CG) cinematic shorts for prominent AAA games such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo.

Marc's career in directing began in 2009 at Blizzard Entertainment, where he contributed to the cinematic intro for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, marking the starting point of his fruitful collaboration with the company.

Throughout his tenure at Blizzard, Marc was responsible for creating high-fidelity CG films for the game's various expansions, including Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Dragonflight.

During the Battle for Azeroth expansion, Marc directed a series of five narrative storytelling installments, which have been compiled into a comprehensive 23-minute experience titled Battle for Azeroth: Varok Saurfang's Mak'Gora.

As of 2024, Marc is now represented by Mark Saffian of Content House and is shifting his focus towards screenwriting.

Prior to his work at Blizzard, Marc gained valuable experience as a storyboard artist on a range of feature films, including "Con Air", "Blade", and "Poseidon".

In addition to his work in the film industry, Marc has also directed two independent films: "The Sasquatch Hunters" (1997) and "Exposure" (2010).
