Malin Arvidsson is a multifaceted actor and creator who has leveraged her extensive background in singing and dancing to build a diverse and thriving career.
At the tender age of 16, Malin was handpicked from the Ballet Academy Preparatory Vocational education to embark on a career as a dancer for some of Sweden's most renowned artists. Following her graduation, she continued her education to become a dancer, while also honing her skills as a choreographer and background singer.
However, it was at the age of 21 that Malin made the bold decision to transition into acting. She began her musical training at the Ballet Academy's musical line, which was subsequently followed by a degree in Acting at The University of Gothenburg. Malin discovered her true calling by combining her strong acting abilities with physical theater, dance, and singing.
During her time at The University of Gothenburg, Malin developed her writing skills and created her own first musical theater production, which explored the theme of identity from the perspective of an adopted child. This subject was deeply personal to Malin, as she was adopted from a war-torn Central American country by a Swedish family with a strong musical and cultural background when she was just four months old.
Throughout her 17-year career, Malin has worked extensively on stage and screen, touring throughout Sweden, Scandinavia, and Europe. She currently runs her own business, which has been fortunate enough to work with prestigious clients such as United Stage Artists, Stockholm City Theatre, The Royal Dramatic Theatre, SVT Drama, and Filmlance International.
