Although initially, Mahiya had no aspirations to pursue a career in the film industry, her impressive performance in her first movie garnered widespread acclaim, which in turn fueled her passion for acting and motivated her to continue pursuing her dreams.
In the following year, 2013, Mahiya's acting career experienced a significant surge, as she appeared in a total of four films, with the majority of them enjoying commercial success. This remarkable feat further solidified Mahiya's position as a talented and sought-after actress in the Bangladeshi film industry.
Interestingly, Mahiya's academic pursuits have been closely tied to her passion for the performing arts. She has been studying fashion and creative designing at the prestigious Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, where she is honing her skills and expanding her knowledge in these fields.
