Maggie Wagner is a highly acclaimed and multi-nominated American actress, boasting an impressive resume that spans over 50 feature films, shorts, television shows, and print ads. As a lifetime member of the esteemed Actors Studio, Maggie has had the privilege of honing her craft alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry.

Born in the vibrant city of New York, Maggie spent her formative years on both the upper west and upper east sides, where she was exposed to the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the city. From a very early age, Maggie knew that acting was her calling, and she began pursuing a career with unwavering dedication.

With the guidance and encouragement of her movie director uncle, Mark Rydell, as well as her supportive parents, Maggie attended The Neighborhood Playhouse, where she refined her skills and developed her craft. She then continued her studies at HB studios and ultimately earned a coveted spot at the Actors Studio, where she had the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by some of the most respected figures in the industry.

Maggie's big break came when she was cast in The Philadelphia Company's production of "To Gillian on her 37th Birthday," playing the role of Cindy. Her outstanding performance earned her rave reviews, and she was subsequently cast in the movie "Anna" in New York City, alongside the talented Sally Kirkland. Her impressive portrayal of Anna caught the attention of casting director Todd Thaler, who went on to cast her in "Working Girl" as one of Melanie Griffith's friends.

Mike Nichols, the renowned director of "Working Girl," was so impressed with Maggie's performance that he decided to make her a principal character in the film. This breakthrough role marked a significant turning point in Maggie's career, and she soon found herself in high demand.

Maggie's success in "Working Girl" led to her being cast in her uncle's movie, "For the Boys," alongside the iconic Bette Midler. Her impressive performance in this film earned her further recognition, and she was soon approached by casting agents from Carsey Warner and HBO to star in the TV series "Dream On."

Over the course of her illustrious career, Maggie has spent 15 years living in Los Angeles, where she has continued to hone her craft and take on a wide range of roles.
