Biography

Maboud Ebrahimzadeh, a multifaceted individual, was born in Bushehr, Iran, to a family with a rich cultural heritage. His father, Mahmood Ebrahimzadeh, was a professional soccer player, and his mother, Jaleh Ebrahimzadeh, holds a PhD.

In 1999, Ebrahimzadeh moved to the United States, where he followed in his father's footsteps, pursuing a career in soccer. He began playing internationally at the age of 11 and continued to do so until he turned his focus to medicine. He enrolled at Howard University in Washington, DC, where he started studying medicine.

However, Ebrahimzadeh's passion for the arts eventually led him to shift his focus to theatre and film. He transferred to Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland, where he began to hone his craft.

During his time at Howard Community College, Ebrahimzadeh made his stage debut at the Theatre Outback, where he appeared in productions of Picasso at the Lapin Agile, directed by Sarah Wiggin, and Pippin, directed by Susan Kramer. His first professional appearance on stage came shortly after at Rep Stage, where he starred in Kasi Campbell's production of Hamlet.

Ebrahimzadeh has since become a familiar presence on stages in the Washington DC area, earning himself a reputation as an intelligent and versatile actor. He has portrayed a wide range of roles in classical and contemporary plays, and is a Resident Artist at Round House Theatre.

Throughout his career, Ebrahimzadeh has received critical acclaim as an actor. In 2016, he won The Barrymore Award for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Play for his work in The Invisible Hand by Ayad Akhtar at Theatre Exile in Philadelphia. The production garnered 10 nominations, winning five, including Outstanding Overall Production of a Play.

In addition to his work on stage, Ebrahimzadeh has also ventured into the film industry. He began his career as a Production Assistant, eventually moving on to producing, directing, and writing. His work as an actor includes short films, industrial, voice-overs, commercials, and feature films.

Ebrahimzadeh's journey is a testament to his dedication to his craft and his ability to adapt to new challenges. He has established himself as a talented and versatile actor, and continues to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
