Lynn Davis, a talented vocalist, hails from Jamestown, California, where her remarkable vocal range first caught the attention of renowned musician George Duke. This serendipitous discovery marked the beginning of a long-standing collaboration, as Davis went on to perform and dance with the George Duke Band from the late 1970s to the 1990s. However, her musical journey eventually took a new turn as she left the band to embark on a solo career, touring with other prominent singers.
As a songwriter and producer, Davis has made significant contributions to the music industry, penning and producing hits for a diverse range of artists, including Patrice Rushen, Tracie Spencer, LaToya Jackson, and many others. Her impressive discography boasts a number of notable songs, including the popular "I Want You for Myself", the enchanting "Lady of the Nyle", and the beautiful "Indigo Waltz", a collaborative effort with Japanese musician Toshinobu Kubota.
